Recent guest appearances on other artists CD's include 2 songs on the new Patty Loveless CD; "Strong Heart" The tracks are; "You're so cool" and "My Heart Will Never Break This Way Again."

There is currently no sign of a new record deal, Matraca's last release was "Lying to the moon and other stories" (1999) a fabulous anthology album containing re-worked versions of older and newer tracks. Her last 'original' recording was "Sunday morning to Saturday Night"(1997) released on the now defunct 'Rising Tide' label.
