While the CDrom is based extensively on the web sites Symbolic Sculpture and Mathematics, and Mathematics and Knots, the CDRom format allows you to browse easily at home without concern over download time or telephone costs. It also allowed us to include for 23 of the sculptures animations which were commissioned by Edition Limitée from Nick Mee of Virtual Image.
If you have Apple Quicktime on your computer you can view small versions of some of these animations by clicking on Animations . This software is downloadable from the CDRom, and can also be obtained over the net from the Apple Quicktime site.
The clever design of the CDRom (which was programmed in Metacard) also allowed SUMit Software to control the look of each page, and the navigation.
The files on the CDRom are easily copied to a hard disc and so may be used on various machines in an institution. We draw your attention to our liberal licensing rules.
